Dr. Tammy Bergen

Veterinarian/Owner

Dr Tammy Bergen graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. After a 3 year stint in a mixed animal practice in southern Saskatchewan, Tammy joined Chinook Pet clinic in the Fall of 2001 as an associate veterinarian. Tammy is presently the sole owner of Chinook Pet Clinic. Currently, Dr Bergen is in the process of obtaining certification in canine rehabilitation. She shares her home with three very special fur kids: a rescue cat named Joey, a shaggy rescued mix breed named Taylor and a Flat Coated Retriever named Parker. When not working Tammy enjoys photography and training/competing in dog agility.

Dr. Kendra MacPherson

Veterinarian

We are excited to welcome Dr. Kendra MacPherson to our team at Chinook Pet Clinic!
Dr. Kendra MacPherson was born and raised in Lethbridge and received her Bachelor of Science with Distinction from the University of Lethbridge. She then attended the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Her professional interests include medicine, dental surgery, and soft tissue surgeries.
While away from the clinic, Dr. Kendra and her husband are often on travel adventures with their English Setter, Bree. They enjoy hiking in the mountains, snowshoeing, and playing board games. The MacPhersons also have two rescue cats, Steve and Emma. It is a little-known fact that Dr. Kendra is a talented watercolour artist, painting landscapes and pet portraits. She looks forward to meeting you all and caring for your furry loved ones!

Cary-Anne Russell

Animal Health Technologist

Cary-Anne has been with Chinook Pet Clinic since 2006. Prior to this, she worked at a feline exclusive clinic in Calgary for several years. Cary-Anne's fur family includes two rescue kitties named Chuck and Peg, a rescue Rhodesian Ridgeback named Sally and the newest edition this past spring, a Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy named Django. In her spare time, Cary-Anne enjoys taking part in a variety of activities such as running, obstacle training/racing, Bikram yoga, camping and hiking to name a few.

Loretta Fath

Office Personnel/Receptionist

Loretta joined the Chinook Pet Clinic team in May 2005. She grew up on a small farm north of Lethbridge. When not working at the clinic she enjoys gardening and spending time with her husband, family and friends.

Crystal Holmes

Animal Health Technologist

Crystal initially went to Simon Fraser University for Criminology and Psychology and worked in the Social Services field, but always wanted to work with animals. She decided to go back to school graduated from Olds College in 2018. Crystal has been with Chinook Pet Clinic since starting her schooling and completed her practicum to then start on as an RVT. Since there are 2 Crystal’s on staff, she is also known as Crystal H, The Other Crystal or Crystal the Technician.

Crystal has 2 rescue cats Simon and Lewis that keep her plenty busy with their crazy antics but is always considering adding more.

Crystal Eakett

Office Personnel/Receptionist

Crystal came to the clinic in December 2019 with 2 years prior work experience as a client care representative at a mixed animal clinic. Crystal E. (as she is often called because the clinic has 2 Crystal’s and it sometimes gets confusing!) was born and raised in small town Saskatchewan. She has always had a strong love for animals and doesn’t remember a time in her life when her family didn’t have a cat. In her spare time Crystal enjoys trips to the mountains, making essential oil rollers, listening to music and playing a variety of board games with her family and friends. She also loves spending time with her 19 year old Pomeranian Teek and 3 cats: Cinnamon, Nutmeg and Clove (a.k.a The Spice Girls). She’s looking forward to meeting your furry loved ones!
