Loretta joined the Chinook Pet Clinic team in May 2005. She grew up on a small farm north of Lethbridge. When not working at the clinic she enjoys gardening and spending time with her husband, family and friends.
Crystal initially went to Simon Fraser University for Criminology and Psychology and worked in the Social Services field, but always wanted to work with animals. She decided to go back to school graduated from Olds College in 2018. Crystal has been with Chinook Pet Clinic since starting her schooling and completed her practicum to then start on as an RVT. Since there are 2 Crystal’s on staff, she is also known as Crystal H, The Other Crystal or Crystal the Technician.
Crystal has 2 rescue cats Simon and Lewis that keep her plenty busy with their crazy antics but is always considering adding more.
Crystal came to the clinic in December 2019 with 2 years prior work experience as a client care representative at a mixed animal clinic. Crystal E. (as she is often called because the clinic has 2 Crystal’s and it sometimes gets confusing!) was born and raised in small town Saskatchewan. She has always had a strong love for animals and doesn’t remember a time in her life when her family didn’t have a cat. In her spare time Crystal enjoys trips to the mountains, making essential oil rollers, listening to music and playing a variety of board games with her family and friends. She also loves spending time with her 19 year old Pomeranian Teek and 3 cats: Cinnamon, Nutmeg and Clove (a.k.a The Spice Girls). She’s looking forward to meeting your furry loved ones!
