Meet Dr. Bergen
Upon graduating from the WCVM in 1998, Dr. Bergen began her career in a mixed animal practice in Southern Saskatchewan. Coincidentally, it was the same practice she had worked at as an Animal Health Technologist prior to returning to the University to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine Degree.
In September 2011, she relocated to Lethbridge, Alberta to begin her longstanding employment at Chinook Pet Clinic. After 3 years of employment as an Associate Veterinarian, an opportunity presented itself and she took on an ownership role. In December 2020, the clinic joined the P3 Veterinary Partners Community, where Dr. Bergen continues to work as a Veterinarian and Medical Director for the clinic.
She shares her life with her cat, Joey, and 2 flat-coated retrievers, Parker and Sawyer. When not at work, she can be found training and trialing in Canine Scent Detection and Canine Agility.
